One of my favorite performances by The Cardinals
I need some new tunes.
Off to the record store I go!
has anyone ever found a roommate on craigslist?
I found my roomates on craigslist and they are totally normal, They work in the finances and wear suits.i live in a place now that is pretty nice & i found that via craigslist, my roommates are a little weird, especially the cat, but overall it has worked out.
the search, though, using almost strictly craigslist was kinda painful…and you must search watchdog for sex offenders, cause if i hadn’t asked one question during one of the potential apartment searches i may have ended up living with a registered sex offender…and i would have never had known.
does that ever work out successfully?
i’m trying to figure out living arrangements for this fall, and there are some interesting options on there…but it seems kinda crazy to move in with total strangers.
the opening band...
so the opening band at my show tonight is like a scary simon & garfunkel…one of them even has big hair…They must have watched Sundays Flight of the Conchords :)
Ween was formed in 1984 in Pennsylvania when Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo met in an eighth grade typing class. Eventually the pair became known as Gene and Dean Ween. Ween collected a large underground fanbase all the while being generally unknown in pop music. Their recordings were anarchic and free-spirited. I’m not going to try and label the type of music they play because it’s impossible. I have included some of the easiest songs of theirs to listen to below. The first album I heard from them was Pure Guava which was an instant classic according to the junior college radio station I attended in the early 1990s. then I got Chocolate And Cheese basically for the cover… this album ending up including my 2 favorite Ween songs that you’ll have to search out. Baby Bitch(considered the best break-up song of all time by some) and Buenos Tardes Amigo. Later they released a real try no joke country album that I would love to have on vinyl. I think it was called 12 Golden Country Hits which had cover art just like the old 70s country compilation “hits” albums.
Is there something up with the Tumblr today?
I think anybodies post have updated to my Dashboard. Weird
